Casa Arroyo City is a "Sportsman's Paradise". Adolph Thomae County Park & Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge neighbor this south Texas hunting and fishing town.  The lodge has an extra large lighted pier for night fishing for speckled trout.  All three of units have all amenities. We offer hunting and fishing combinations, including whitewing dove hunting in the Rio Grande Valley and duck and goose hunting in the Laguna Madre through, South Texas Kayak Fishing, Guided Fly fishing and light tackle fishing, kayak, nature & birding tours.

Arroyo City is perfectly located to take advantage of all the Lower Laguna Madre has to offer.  Anglers with their own boats will love the easy access to all of the best fishing areas.  A convenient public boat launch at Adolph Thomae County Park puts you in approximately 5 miles from the best fishing in the bay.  A boat launch fee of $3.00 is a small price to pay for the privilege to launch.  The old Sanchez Bait Shack is now "Readys" and the new management continues to operate this landmark in traditional style.  Readys has the closest boat ramp to launch from upon arriving in Arroyo City.  Boat launch fee $? - we will find out.

 Unit A - "The Penthouse"

Comprising the entire second floor of the lodge, Unit A offers 5 bedrooms (4 with 2 full-size beds each), 4 bathrooms. At 2600 square feet with an expansive kitchen and living area with a 50" plasma television and an outdoor patio, this unit is a perfect place for your large group or family gathering. The master bathroom contains a whirlpool bathtub, and an elevator is available. Convenient access via elevated boardwalk to rooftop boat house bar.  Best views of the Arroyo Colorado.  Perfect for corporate events or watching the big game.  Sleeps 14 comfortably.

Unit B - "Pier Level"

The first floor contains Unit B, which offers 4 bedrooms with 2 full-size beds each, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a generous living area with a 55" television in 2400 square feet of space. Convenient located on the ground floor, the pier level is perfect with families and the occassional well behaved pet (kennel trained dogs are welcome).  Huge windows provide the best waterfront views at the lodge.  Enjoy waterfront dining every night, even the kitchen is waterfront.  Perfect for catered fish fry's and bbq's.  Sleeps 10 comfortably.

Unit C - "The Perfect Place"

For those not needing the large sizes of Units A and B, Unit C is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath space with 2 full-size beds and a full-size futon. Sleeps 3 comfortably.  Some say this is there favorite unit.  It is a large kitchenette with private bath.  It is newly furnished, the beds are in excellent condition and well made.  The air conditioning might be this units best feature, it gets "meat locker" cold if you desire.  This unit is perfect for crashing out after a hard day of fishing.  Your own private entrance/exit makes it easy to get up and go in the morning.  This unit has no cable tv.  Bring a dvd player if you would like to watch a dvd.  Guests of C have access to the bbq in the backyard.  Night fishing is limited, please contact us for more information about night fishing opportunities in Unit C.
