Lower Laguna Madre
Convenient to Arroyo City, Port Mansfield, South Padre Island, Laguna Vista, the Lower Laguna Madre bay offers a variety of fishing. The lush grass flats, deep channels, spoil edges, sand flats, backcountry bays, lakes and lagoons offer fine redfish and speckled trout. The Port Mansfield jetties, South Padre Island jetties, Boca Chica jetties provide: pompano, bluefish, sheepshead, black drum, snapper, jack crevalle, tarpon, snook, mackerel and others.

Lower Laguna Madre is blessed with pristine, crystal clear waters and lots of fish.  Fly fisherman will marvel at over 268 sq miles of 2 1/2 feet of water surrounded by wilderness.  If you have never been, you would have never guessed just how big the shallow water fishing is in south Texas.  Only a few miles from the Mexico border, we enjoy a warm tropical climate, palm trees, white sand and real margaritas.  Come on down and see for yourself.  If you have been, then you know... give us a call and we will match you with the best guide & dates available. Fly Fishing or Light Tackle Spin Limit 2 Anglers per boat

Sightcasting from the bow of a customized Texas flats skiff while a professional fly fishing guide poles and positions the boat all while scanning for fish. Light tackle spinning gear works exceptionally well.

Drift fishing, blind casting, wade fishing techniques are all available to the bay fishing guide.  Wadefishing and chucking big topwaters is one of the best way to catch a trophy speckled trout.  Drift fishing allows anglers to cover ground quickly all while scanning and casting for redfish, trout and flounder.  At times the fish settle it to deep holes and channels, blind casting these areas can be a very productive way to catch your limit.

Night Pier Fishing Group Trip
At night the lights coming on and the fishing heats up from port mansfield to arroyo city to south padre island.  Come with us for the ultimate night fishing trip.  Includes night of waterfront lodge style accommodations, food, beverages, keg, unlimited fishing time, large bait attracting lighted piers and artificial lures. Angler responsible for his or her own gear. Its night sight fishing that can be fast, furious and fun! Speckeld trout and sometimes redfish & snook. Check in to the lodge at 3 pm Check out at 12:00 pm.

Offshore Gulf & Reef Charters - up to 4 Anglers
Port Isabel, South Padre Island & Port Mansfield only a dozen or so miles from the open ocean.  All three destinations offer some of the finest offshore fishing in  the continental USA.
Be trolling for big game fish within minutes. Offshore charters can put you on limits of Red Snapper less than one mile offshore three hundred and sixty five days a year.  Texas also boasts one of the Gulf's best Tuna fisheries.  Offshore Anglers may encounter Spanish Mackerel & a variety of Billfish.

DEEP SEA FISHING CHARTER RATES UP TO 6 ANGLERS
42 Foot Bertram powered by twin 540 horsepower Detroit Diesels cruising speed 23.5 knots!
The boat is licensed for up to 6 anglers.  There is plenty of room for all to fish, sit, sight see from the bridge and enjoy the AIR CONDITIONED salon.  We supply everything you need to fish, the ice, bait, tackle, gear and deck hand to help you land the fish.

$1,450 for an 8 hour,
$1,700 for 10 hours
$1,950 for 12 hours trips
$3,250 for overnight trips 24 hours.
All prices are subject to a fuel surcharge.

Eight hour trips typically target red snapper, ling, kingfish, spanish mackerel, sharks, mangrove or gray snapper, grouper, dorado (also called Mahi-mahi or dolphin fish) and the occasional sailfish.

Ten hour trips can catch the same as an 8 hour plus try for amberjack, tuna and wahoo.

Twelve hour trips can catch all of the above or troll for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin tuna and dorado.

Over-night trips can target yellowfin tuna and swordfish or just about everything else out there.

We are also available for whale watching and bird-watching tours. When in season (usually May through October), you may see Pygmy Sperm Whales, Pilot Whales, Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Spotted Dolphins, Bottle-nosed Dolphins and Whale Sharks. Please call for rates on these trips.
